I didn't originally set out to build an assurance platform. I had a problem I wanted to solve.

After more than 15 years working across quality assurance, audit and operational oversight, I'd seen how quickly assurance can become complicated, multiple review streams, different methodologies, spreadsheets, trackers and manual reporting, all making it harder to see the bigger picture.

I wanted a better way to manage the framework, drive consistency whilst still maintaining original outputs to Microsoft applications. So I built one.

What started as a solution to a problem I had myself became a configurable platform that allows businesses to manage multiple assurance streams and build oversight around what matters to them, bringing performance, risk and customer outcomes together in one place.

I also wanted assurance data to do more than produce a score. It should help identify emerging risks, expose systemic issues, track whether corrective actions are working and give stakeholders meaningful insight into their operation.

The platform is designed to work alongside existing systems, with configurable Excel exports and Power BI-ready data that can feed into established MI and reporting.

The platform has been shaped by my real world experience of leading QA and oversight functions, working with operational teams, senior stakeholders and suppliers, and using assurance findings to drive measurable improvement.

Assurance shouldn't just tell you what went wrong. It should help you understand why, where the risk sits and what needs to change.
